In this role you will manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers. You will be accountable for the quality of your own work. Will be subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work with GE HealthCare Asia site logistics team and Freight Audit Companies (FAP) to implement and maintaining the freight audit and payment process.

  • Ensure timely and accurate payment to logistics service providers based on Logistics contract

  • Ensure correct cost allocation rule is implemented in FAP

  • Liaising Finance AP team to ensure correct booking on the GL or SL

  • Coordinating with transportation carriers and FAP to ensure freight invoice timely submission and processing in the system.

  • Maintaining each implementation in updated profile and shared to global Freight Payment team.

  • Support Freight Payment KPI (Key Performance Indicator)

  • Continuous improvement on the freight audit and payment process

Required Qualifications:

  • This role requires minimum 3 years of experience in the Logistics.

  • College or relevant high level degree or formal qualification on business, finance or supplier chain.

  • Fluent in English in verbal and written

  • Fully competent using Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)

  • Have project experience

  • Good communication and facilitation skills

  • Well grounded in financial & IT management

  • Experience in freight audit and accounts payable & accounting

  • Knowledge and experience of logistics and Transportation management
