Position Overview: As a Global Salesforce Business Analyst & Administrator , you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our Salesforce instance, ensuring the platform is fully optimized for internal teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions within Salesforce. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and success of our sales, marketing, and customer service operations.
What you’ll do:
Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validations.
Handle all administrative functions e.g. user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, and creation of new fields.
Perform ongoing system administration, including data integrity, loads, system backups, and security settings.
Enhance forecasting and reporting capabilities, including the construction of new reports and dashboards.
Review and improve upon the current system for the overall tracking and organization of reports and dashboards
Collaborate with various departments to identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice scalable solutions focusing on exceptional user experience.
Oversee significant Salesforce projects, including implementations or migrations, ensuring they align with business goals.
Manage integrations with third-party applications and tools, ensuring data flow and functionality.
Provide training and support for Salesforce users, ensuring they effectively utilize the system.
Stay updated on Salesforce releases and features and recommend enhancements to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce functionality and integration issues with other systems.
Document system configuration and administrative processes.
Identify unused or underutilized platform features and provide continuous optimization of the platform.
Required Skills
Required Education & Experience
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
3+ years of experience as a business analyst / Salesforce administrator
Salesforce.com administration certification
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SAS, etc)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and communicate with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent project management skills and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Fluent English language skills in both oral and written communication are essential
