Intel Cloud Software Platform Engineer in Bengaluru, India
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, validation, and debugging of software catered for various deployment scenarios including cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premises. They should possess an understanding and ability to optimize full-stack software, including algorithms and applications, to facilitate cloud software development. Experience with open-source software projects such as Kubernetes, Keycloak, Prometheus, Loki, and others to integrate with the product. Experience with Kubernetes, for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications, creating clusters, deploying applications, and understanding of Kubernetes networking. Familiarity with Kubernetes security, including secrets management and network policies, would be beneficial.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in software engineering in large systems with microservices
Bachelor's in CS or related field
Hand-on experience using the following:
Go language
GitOps techniques and Infrastructure as Code (Fleet, ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform, Pulumi)
CI/CD tools(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
Experience in CSP cloud infrastructure AWS IAM, EC2, EKS, Route53, Lambda, Aurora
- Embraces pragmatism, positivity, and continuous learning
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in relevant areas such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), etc.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
