Job Description
Want to work on one of the fastest growing areas within the products at Oracle? We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Cx DevOps team. Our primary focus is designing, developing, and maintaining tooling that is used to build, deploy, test, and deliver our solutions to the SaaS fleet. Additionally, you will play a key role in Production Support for Cloud Operations. As a member of our team, you will help develop various software solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity for our organization and stakeholders. Our tooling is built using various technologies such as VBCS and/or Apex while leveraging Generative AI. We operate using agile principles and currently have teams primarily located in Canada, the U.S., and India.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Tool Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom tooling for infrastructure tracking, build, deployment, testing, and delivery processes.
Cloud Operations Support: Participate in production support activities for cloud operations, ensuring high availability and reliability of our services.
Software Solutions: Develop software solutions that improve efficiency and productivity for our organization and stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide appropriate tooling and support.
Agile Methodology: Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Technology Utilization: Use various technologies such as VBCS, Apex, and Generative AI to build and enhance our tooling ecosystem.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within our processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed tools and processes.
Skills and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience as an Application, DevOps, or Platform Engineer, or in a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Experience with HTML and CSS.
Experience with REST APIs and some Java.
Experience with SQL/PLSQL.
Familiarity with Fusion and Enterprise Development, and Apex.
Familiarity with Cloud Services (OCI).
Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
