Textum OPCO, LLC is hiring a Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator for its facilities.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing HR functions related to employee payroll, benefits administration, and HR documentation. You will collaborate closely with employees, managers, and leadership to ensure accurate and efficient HR operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full-cycle payroll process, including processing timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring accurate and timely payments
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, claims resolution, and ongoing maintenance of benefits records
  • Prepare and maintain HR documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and employee records
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees
  • Assist employees with HR-related inquiries and provide guidance on company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with external vendors, such as payroll providers and benefits brokers, to ensure smooth operations
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR and payroll information
  • Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR and payroll administration
  • Preference for those with a PHR or SHRM-CP
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and HRIS systems (Payentry and Wrokable)
  • Experience with benefits administration and knowledge of relevant regulations
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly analytical with problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Candidates will be required to pass a drug test
