Robert Half Assistant Controller in Belmont, California
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller in the Real Estate & Property industry. Located in Belmont, California, you will join our team to manage and enhance our financial operations. You'll play a key role in reviewing and analyzing financial statements, managing balance sheets, and improving efficiency through the use of computer systems.
Responsibilities:
• Enhancing efficiency through the use of computer systems
• Managing and reviewing balance sheets
• Processing and analyzing accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Conducting CAM reconciliations
• Supporting financial matters of the organization under the Controller's guidance
• Reviewing financial statements of 2 Commercial Accountants for senior leadership. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the Real Estate & Property industry
• Proficiency in accounting functions, including, but not limited to, general ledger entries, account reconciliations and financial statement preparations
• Expertise in auditing, with a proven track record of conducting internal and external audits
• Experience in CAM Reconciliation, with an ability to handle complex computations and identify discrepancies
• Comprehensive knowledge of Commercial Real Estate, including property valuation, leasing, and property management
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is mandatory
• Certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CGA are highly desirable.
