JOB SUMMARY

The CFO of North Sound ACH will be a visionary and strategic financial leader who ensures the organization's sustainability through sound financial operations, compliance, and innovation. This role oversees financial strategy, audit readiness, risk management, and resource alignment to support the organization's mission.

 

This position will be performed primarily within a remote home office within the North Sound region of Washington. Transportation and the ability to attend occasional in-person and regional meetings (within the five-county service area) is required (approximately four per month) is required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least five years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in nonprofit accounting or financial management.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and experience with regulatory compliance, including familiarity with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and other relevant laws and regulations for nonprofits strongly preferred.
  • Advanced degree from an accredited college or university in a subject area related to accounting, finance, business, or another field related to the position preferred.

     

The ideal candidate will foster accountability, mentor the finance team, and champion financial transparency and efficiency.

 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual Salary Range: $127,068 - $171,915 (DOE)
