Accounts Payable Associate


The Accounts Payable Associate processes Vendor invoices and all related requirements.


The Accounts Payable Associate reports to the Accounts Payable Lead.


Technical Support

  • Prepare and process vendor invoices

  • Prepare and process vendor check runs and wire payments

  • Accounts payable filing

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Lean Support

  • Promote and support 5s+1, Kaizen, and other Zodiac sponsored Lean activities.

  • Participate and contribute to 5s+1 and Lean activities.


  • High School Diploma required

  • Higher level accounting/finance coursework desired

  • Minimum 3 years of high volume accounts payable processing experience required, preferably for a manufacturing company

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experience using an ERP system (M3/Lawson is a plus)

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Ability to work OT as needed during high customer/vendor demand


  • Normal office conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

  • Standard workweek sometimes exceeds 40 hours/week.
