Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Data Driven Product Decisions : Requires knowledge of: Product and feature analytics; Data analysis tools and techniques; Research for analysis activities; Documentation procedures (for example, data logs); Modern industry practices and emerging trends. To extract insights and promotes the value of insight extraction from complex data analytics. Guides and extracts relevant data to drive effective product decisions. Demonstrates awareness of best practices in insight extraction from databases techniques. Independently drives product/feature analytics. Driving Customer/ Client Needs : Requires knowledge of: Customer and business problems; Design thinking; Dependencies and impacts on product processes/ways of working; Journey mapping; Process optimization; Communication and influencing techniques. To drive a culture to understand and address customization needs based on functional requirements. Enables the creation of an ecosystem that identifies and addresses unmet customer needs. Product Roadmap and Development : Requires knowledge of: Product roadmap development techniques; Roadmap presentation; Roadmap features and items; Project management techniques; Modern business practice (for example, Agile methodologies, Scrum); Minimum Viable Product (MVP) creation; Product development lifecycles; Product development concepts (for example, "Crossing the Chasm") To own roadmaps of multiple complex product lines/product families and works with leadership to ensure alignment with overall business strategy. Creates strategies/processes that drive compliance and ethical norms. Addresses external/market constraints. Reviews and updates PM processes to formalize expectations. Oversees MVP and final product rollout and scaling processes. Product Vision and Strategy: Requires knowledge of: Problem formulation and solutioning; Hypothesis framing; Business strategies; Business management practices across multiple domains; Customer segments and needs; Domain-specific knowledge; "Go to Market" strategies; Industry, environmental, and economic factors and competitors; Product discovery process, product vision, product strategy and challenges; Rapid prototyping and Lean experimentation methodologies; Concepts of "First Principle," "Whole Product," and "Crossing the Chasm" . To own multiple complex customer problem/needs. Promotes and drives value creation in evergreen and new areas using "Whole Product" concepts. Drives the product discovery process to improve product success. Creates guidelines for validation at different levels (for example, product, problem, user). Promotes strategies and vision and impacts on various related products. Provides guidance in creating "Go-to-Market" strategies by considering relevant user segments and ensuring mass adoption. Influencing and Building Stakeholder Consensus : Requires knowledge of: Verbal/non-verbal behaviors ; Application and allocation of business communication styles/techniques in ambiguous and challenging situations; Situational awareness; Elements of Emotional Intelligence and Influencing Styles; Communication channels/mediums; Interpersonal skills and universal relationship building. To present to leadership/ diverse organization wide audience, positioning arguments/data with well-structured stories. Builds consensus in sensitive situations. Connects strategic business priorities to the technical requirements and development. Serves as a trusted advisor to diverse stakeholders. Coaches team members on effective communication linking it to business strategy. Technology Orientation: Requires knowledge of: Competitive technology landscapes; Existing portfolio of enterprise systems, technologies, services, and architecture; Common PaaS and IaaS technologies and environments; Software quality assurance methodologies, tools, processes, and checkpoints; Emerging technology and industry trends; Product and technology innovation. To lead the adoption of new and emerging technologies. Assesses and researches the market to selectively adopt technologies and drive innovation. Collaborates with engineering managers and team members to maintain technical debt at optimal levels. Recognizes risks in architectural choices and guides team members on architectural choices. Forecasts competitor, market, and technology trends. In-Depth Domain Expertise : Requires knowledge of: Domain-specific methodologies, tools, and processes; Domain-specific products; Domainspecific best practices; Domain-specific market standards in product/platform architecture To develop domain strategies with executive leadership and contributes to the future states of a domain. Explains business directions of key competitors and industry leaders across a domain and impacts on Walmart. Proactively engages in the external community to build Walmart's brand and influence industry practices across a domain. Serves as an advisor and product solution design lead for automation for domain-specific clients. Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning. Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent. Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $234,000.00-$444,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
