Amazon Sr. Program Manager, DSP Capacity Planning in Bellevue, Washington

The Senior Program Manager for DSP Capacity Planning will be a key leader in the long-term capacity strategy and planning for the DSP Program. This role emphasizes creating alignment among various stakeholder teams, specifically in the fastest growing DSP business line. The program manager will design scalable programs that both optimize business size for our top partners while also ensuring our partners can satisfy customer demand year-round. This person would work closely with senior leaders in both upstream teams that build capacity plans and downstream teams that are users of those plans, becoming a key leader across the supply chain.

The Sr Program Manager will also be responsible for constantly evolving strong forecasting and analytical models that can reliably predict long range DSP capacity needs in the face of high growth and high variability in input signals.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build scalable and data driven long range DSP capacity plans.

  • Build and manage processes to incorporate planning inputs in a seamless and scalable manner.

  • Build partnerships with upstream planning functions to measure, control and respond to planning variations.

  • Work cross-functionally with field operations and functional leaders to drive influence in capacity planning and management.

  • Drive leadership business reviews on long term capacity strategy.

We also are looking for team members who exemplify invent and simplify and are always on the lookout for ways to better existing processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Knowledgeable in Routing & Planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
