Amazon Sr. Product Manager, Ops Tech in Bellevue, Washington

Description

The candidate will be working as a member of the Sub-Same Day (SSD) delivery team as we work to provide faster than same day delivery across North America. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with proven product management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional, and technology projects and programs within our Sub Same Day Delivery offering. These roles require scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. This role can require up to 10% travel annually.

Key job responsibilities

Coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders worldwide to proactively identify, optimize, track and report performance.

Developing and utilizing data inputs and KPI’s to inform operational adjustments and strategic roadmaps.

Define and create processes that will scale to meet growing business demands.

Partnering with operational and technical leaders across the organization.

Stakeholder management and ability to influence/partner across various business and tech teams (vertically and laterally)

The ability to speak with data and utilize data to provide insights into decisions being made

Strong communication skills (knowing and adapting to audience), especially when dealing with complex problems

Highly adaptable/agile when it comes to changing conditions

Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations where the solution is not clearly defined

Own diving deep into specific areas and identifying problems to assess opportunities through product discovery conversations

Own project prioritization and managing feature trade offs

Own driving requirements and alignment across R2L and Amazon Delivery leadership

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition, and managing technical products or online services

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Experience with SQL/Six Sigma/Lean analytical techniques

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
