Position summary T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Sr Manager, Product Management (s) located in Bellevue, WA will monitor for trends and provide regular briefings to product managers and business partners on insights, opportunities, and risks. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead cross-functional efforts to identify, prioritize, and conduct root cause analysis on a diverse set of issues that impact the product/service lifecycle. Assign the appropriate level of urgency and influence across teams to drive resolution. Lead the coordinated efforts of implementing solutions into production. Validate the scope of testing for all product/service releases and product/service impacting infrastructure changes. Audit the solution and validate the desired customer experience. Support the development of training programs and troubleshooting materials. Collaborate with the Director to formulate strategic plans and goals for the business scope, emphasizing data-driven outcomes. Responsible for hiring and retaining a high-performing team of Data Scientists, Analysts, and BI Engineers to support products and platforms. This role is also directly accountable for developing strong and productive relationships outside your direct teams with Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and other partner organizations, and supporting vendors. Responsible for executing the vision, design, and product roadmap of a key product or limited product portfolio in a data-driven manner. Most often leading teams of 20+ FTE or contractors who help drive data analytics initiatives. Creates, communicates, and monitors formal performance improvement plan (PIP) when necessary and appropriate. Provides regular, timely coaching lateral (peer) and upward feedback. Fosters culture in the team to enable regular, timely, constructive upward feedback. Assists direct reports with ongoing prioritization and resource allocation to ensure scope and outcomes are delivered. Coding in Python/R, ensuring efficient and clean data analysis and modeling, while conducting code reviews to maintain quality and support team skill development for a high-quality codebase. Leading and inspiring data science teams, providing guidance and mentorship to team members. Managing databases, extracting data, and conducting insightful analysis using SQL for efficient data operations and informed, data-driven decision-making. Building machine learning models, including text analytics (NLP), and explaining these concepts to diverse audiences, including junior data scientists, business users, and stakeholders, to support informed decision-making. Maintain current understanding of the GSMA & Wireless Industry trends for Retail & IoT Roaming. Assesses how trends impact the roadmap or create opportunity for innovation of the products. Collaborates with partners and vendors in analyzing the potential impacts and incorporates analyses into the product process.
