Position summary T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Senior Engineers, Software located in Bellevue, WA will build and maintain systems and databases to support T-Mobile Finance organization. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability. Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AZURE technologies. Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics. Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader. Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Skill requirements: (1) Writing complex SQL language on variety of relational database systems including but not limited to Teradata, SQL server, Oracle, and Snowflake. (2) Building data warehouse and optimizing data pipeline, architectures, and data sets using cloud technologies and platforms. (3) Developing applications and data solutions, practicing all steps in SDLC and Agile development concept. (4) Writing SQL or Python program and varieties of scripting languages to manipulate, process, and extract value from data files or databases such as Teradata, Oracle and Snowflake. (5) Performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement. (6) Leveraging cloud technology like Azure and utilizing services like ADB, ADLS, and ADF to build data pipelines and store data in data mart/data warehouse in order to support business operations such as reporting and analytic works. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field, or its foreign equivalent, and 3 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field, or its foreign equivalent, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
