Our team is searching for a Senior Data Scientist responsible for owning the application of machine learning techniques and statistical methods to tackle business problems. We collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of technical and non-technical business partners on a wide range of challenges. We also demonstrate expertise across the entire machine learning (ML) lifecycle, including problem framing, data collection, exploratory data analysis, model development, deployment, and performance measurement. Responsibilities: Extract, prepare and model large, sophisticated data sets using a combination of skills, including machine learning theory, mathematics, statistics, and programming. Deliver timely quality analysis, interpretation, and synthesis of data into effective, concise, and actionable recommendations that enable intelligent decisioning for the company. Provide senior-level guidance and mentorship to the data science team, including reviewing projects, models, and code for peers and junior team members. Work with engineering teams to implement and improve machine learning pipelines and production-ready models. Optimally communicate important information and insights to business leaders using verbal, written, and data visualization skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 4+ years proven experience in predictive modeling, data science, and analysis in an ML engineer or data scientist role building and deploying ML models or hands on experience developing deep learning models 4+ years demonstrated ability with data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) coupled with big data architecture and pipeline, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, etc. 4+ years articulating and translating business questions and using statistical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data, including data visualization. Mathematics Calculus, linear algebra, statistics, and probability Programming Expertise in Python and SQL and ability working with relational database using SQL Expertise applying machine learning concepts and techniques related to supervised and unsupervised learning Strong communication skills, ability to work with multi-functional teams Education: Bachelor's Degree Quantitative Subject area (math, statistics, economics, computer science, physics, engineering, etc.) Master's/Advanced Degree Quantitative Discipline (math, statistics, economics, computer science, physics, engineering) (Preferred) * At least 18 years of age * Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel: Travel Required (Yes/No): Yes, but minimal DOT Regulated: DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No):No Safety Sensitive Position (Yes/No):No T-Mobile's Commitment Base Pay Range: $106,000 - $191,100 Corporate Bonus Target: 15% The pay range above is the general
