Product Portfolio and Device management is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and spearhead critical data initiatives that will shape our organization's data infrastructure. This pivotal role will be instrumental in improving data accessibility, enhancing data quality across the organization, and enabling data-driven decision-making through efficient data pipelines, insightful Power BI visualizations and robust API implementations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data engineering principles, with expertise in API development and implementation. They will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining scalable data solutions that support our growing business needs. This position offers the opportunity to work with innovative technologies and make a significant impact on our data strategy and operations. As a key member of our data team, the Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with multi-functional teams, lead important data projects. They will be at the forefront of implementing best practices in data engineering, ensuring that our data infrastructure is not only efficient and reliable but also secure and compliant with relevant regulations. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes - Lead the development and implementation of APIs for internal and external data communication - Optimize data storage and retrieval systems for performance and reliability - Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions - Use Azure Data Factory for orchestrating and automating data workflows - Implement and lead data quality assurance processes - Design and develop data models to support analytics and reporting needs - Lead initiatives to improve data architecture and infrastructure - Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations - Run vendor relationships related to data systems and tools Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field - 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles - Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases - Proficiency in Power BI for creating reports and dashboards - Expertise in Python, Java, or similar programming languages - Significant experience in API development and implementation - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services - Experience with data modeling and data warehouse design - Knowledge of data governance frameworks - Strong understanding of data security and privacy principle * At least 18 years of age * Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel: Travel Required (Yes/No):Yes DOT Regulated: DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No):No Safety Sensitive Position (Yes/No):No Base Pay Range: $121,600 - $219,400 Corporate Bonus Target: 20% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role.
