Position summary T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Senior Analysts, IT Quality Assurance located in Bellevue, WA will lead system testing and validation efforts for Finance teams at T-Mobile. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Independently manage multiple deliverables and priorities and develop a clear understanding of the financial requirements for T-Mobile initiatives. Work with the process and application teams to identify and close the gaps concerning IT Financial Quality issues as well as support in providing metrics for monitoring testing progress and measures of success. Assist and apply guidelines on projects to ensure and verify that IT-Quality standards and procedures, as part of the Comprehensive Delivery Process (CDP), are properly implemented and followed. Plan, facilitate, and participate in working sessions with cross-functional resources. Monitor project throughout its lifecycle, including: identifying project requirements and working with key stakeholders for test case creation, prioritization, and validation; developing a system testing strategy to analyze significant volumes of data and make determinations on the validity of results; managing defects and validating resolutions; communicating to management team and other key stakeholders project status, issues, risks, and results; working with management and stakeholders on mitigation strategies for timeline risks; and assisting in development of project presentations for management review. Provide training to other team members and document key processes. Identify areas for process improvement utilizing automation initiatives. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Skill requirements: (1) Using SQL, SAS, SAP, Python or other statistical/analytical programming languages to extract large amounts of data for analysis to determine an accurate test of project requirements; (2) Translating business requirements based on customer and business journeys into testable technical use cases using knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC); (3) Applying Analytical, Methodical, Progression, and Regression testing strategies with focus on Unit Testing, Integration, and User Acceptance methodologies to allow for test plan and test case creation for Revenue Recognition Accounting, Postpaid Service Revenue Accounting, Billing, and Operations Support; (4) Performing data mining and data analysis using SQL, Teradata, Tableau, Business Objects, Power BI, and Unified Data Mainframe in order to identify anomalies, troubleshoot process failures, and work with fix agents for timely resolution of defects; (5) Conceptualizing, documenting, and communicating IT quality solutions using SDLC Tools, JIRA, JIRA Align, ALM, and QTest as well as ensuring they meet SOX and Internal Audit requirements as defined by the business; and (6) Utilizing financial systems and applications including Accounting, Tax, and Credit to support financial back-office teams.
