Position: Software Engineer III

Job Location: 10500 NE 8th Street, 13th Floor, Bellevue, WA 98004

Duties: Ensure the high availability of clinical devices and applications. Build Walmart health knowledge articles to provide assistance to frontline clinical staff. Design and develop solutions to monitor the medical devices used in the Clinics by using NodeJS, Java Script, Azure, and Splunk. Troubleshoot clinical incidents with medical care providers and Clinic admins by using Wireshark and Splunk logs. Contribute to build highly available medical care facilities and applications used in those facilities. Build the telemetry for Clinical applications and devices using Splunk, Catchpoint, and Datadog. Monitor the dashboards and alerts to ensure all the applications are on high availability by using Splunk, Grafana, Spotlight, and Catchpoint. Ensure effective and timely resolution of production incidents. Involved in production defects bridges to resolve the issues on priority and produce the root cause analysis. Use telemetry data, identifying issues and self-healing opportunities and implementing them.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field. Position does not require specific years of experience but requires listed skills.

Skills required: Experience designing and building telemetry solutions using Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus. Experience defining the incident management process. Experience monitoring applications and services to ensure the high availability of systems. Experience resolving production incidents and produce root cause analysis. Experience automating day to day activities using Shell and Python scripts. Experience deploying applications into cloud technologies. Experience providing on call support to ensure the high availability of various production systems. Experience implementing a full CI/CD pipeline using BitBucket, GitLab, and Jenkins for Continuous Integration. Experience using HAP for traffic routing. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $128,502/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.?  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
