The Global Logistics Air Product team is seeking a strong candidate for the role of Senior Supply Chain Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for understanding Amazon's Cross Border Transportation Network and integrating third-party carriers into our network. You will collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams, translating business needs into technical requirements, influencing project prioritization, and overseeing carrier deployment projects from start to finish. In this role, you are expected to embrace supply chain design and engage with carrier partners, as well as internal teams from tech, non-tech, and operations, to gather requirements, establish scope, and execute projects. Your focus will be on ensuring key milestones are achieved and projects are delivered within specified timelines.

Key job responsibilities

  • End-to-end project ownership

  • Following best practices for designing a global supply chain, carrier onboarding and tech integration

  • Launching and ramping the supply chain solution

  • Monitoring performance through metrics

  • Communicating project status updates to leadership

  • Stabilizing operations

  • Transitioning the program to operations

  • Communicating with technical teams

  • Writing and managing a detailed project plan

  • Driving implementation of the plan

  • Ensuring adequate testing throughout the process

  • Analyzing data and using analysis tools

  • Utilizing standard deviation fundamentals

  • Presenting data graphically to highlight wins and misses

  • Assessing daily performance and goal achievement

  • Ensuring customer and seller satisfaction

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 2+ years of supply chain experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Experience with SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • 3+ years of supply chain experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
