Responsibilities

• Design and deploy state-of-the-art Machine Learning models in various downstream applications.  
• Develop large language models for various purposes.  
• Develop multi-modality models that can potentially help search results, especially image-text search or video-text search.  
• Develop multi-modal models that can help improve the trust and safety of the business.  
• Collaborate with engineers to build enterprise-level platform with cutting-edge models.  
• Develop data processing, model training, and model evaluation pipelines.  
• Contribute to the system design of the team.  

• Mentor junior Research Engineers and interns.  

   

Qualifications

Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 2 years of related work and/or research experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work and/or research experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

• Programming using Python and PyTorch to build large-scale learning systems;  
• Developing data-driven prediction models using classic statistical methods, machine learning, and neural network/deep learning;  
• Prototyping and developing machine learning and natural language processing models;  
• Using TensorFlow to develop deep neural network models;  
• Using data analysis tools SQL, PySpark, NumPy, and Pandas to handle large-scale datasets; and  

• Designing and improving graph neural networks using traditional graph theory algorithms.
