As the Senior Program Manager, you will oversee the Program Management Office (PMO) for Worldwide Amazon Business Operations. The PMO's mission is to diminish risk, redundancy, and complexity from our processes, enhancing our business rhythm through continuous learning and improvement. Your role involves steering the team to maintain business cadences, coordinate processes, and meet deadlines for both internal and external document reviews and goal updates. The PMO will also contribute to goal setting and OP strategy at a high level, ensuring project goals and objectives are crystal clear with pre-defined success criteria, adhering to a high-quality standard. You will be responsible for managing the organization's annual calendar, meticulously planning every major review well in advance, and providing each organizational member with a clear view of key milestones and responsibilities several months ahead. Your duties will extend to coordinating annual planning for the organization, facilitating All Hands, as well as weekly and quarterly business reviews.

Key job responsibilities

  • Facilitate three-year planning and annual planning for the Worldwide AB Operations org.

  • Conduct annual goal setting and subsequent monthly reporting to ensure a high-quality standard across the board.

  • Maintain the org's calendar of major milestones, develop working backward plans for each, and ensure clear ownership, setting the org up for success.

  • Facilitate weekly and quarterly business reviews with senior leaders to ensure high-quality reviews and thorough follow-through of any action items resulting from them.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of cross-functional programs with a significant impact across multiple organizations.

  • Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data, and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
