The opportunity

As a Senior Product Manager on the Flexport Trucking team, you will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of the Demand Tech team for the Convoy Platform. Demand Tech owns the Broker Experience, integrations, driving more volume to our marketplace, and cross-team product initiatives for the Convoy Platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, science, design, marketing, and operations, to deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and customer focus.

You will:

  • Define the long-term vision and strategy for your product area.

  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer needs, business goals, and data insights.

  • Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap aligned with business priorities and stakeholder feedback.

  • Ensure timely communication of roadmap updates to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Deeply understand customer needs through research, data analysis, and feedback.

  • Translate customer insights into actionable product requirements.

  • Work with engineering teams to define technical requirements and manage delivery timelines.

  • Partner with UX teams to design intuitive and engaging user experiences.

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans.

  • Work with other companies to co-develop mutually beneficial products.

  • Partner with TMS providers to integrate and then iterate our product.

  • Collaborate with third party system integrators to launch new brokers.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.

  • Use data to inform decisions and iterate on the product to improve performance.

  • Communicate product vision, progress, and challenges to senior leaders and stakeholders.

You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in a tech and logistics environment.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex products.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience in Trucking

  • Experience with data-driven decision-making, including proficiency with SQL

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically.

  • Track record of managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the posting's respective region. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range displayed, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training.

The US base salary range for this position: (exclusive of bonus, equity and benefits.)

$155,000—$194,000 USD
