We're expanding rapidly and seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager with a proven track record to drive the expansion of our remote vehicle controls portfolio within the Fleet Tech Products & Analytics (FTPA) team.

In this role, the ideal candidate will have a history of successfully launching impactful automotive consumer features and products, specifically focusing on remote vehicle configurations. We're looking for an individual who is highly analytical, can collaborate effectively across teams, and excels in entrepreneurial, fast-paced work environments.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop the software product strategy and roadmap for the Infotainment Entertainment portfolio in collaboration with key stakeholders, OEMs, and senior leadership.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform market requirements into innovative and user-friendly remote vehicle control solutions.

  • Prioritize features and functionality based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact.

  • Lead the product development process, coordinating with engineering, program, business teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.

  • Own drafting PRFAQs, BRDs and design user stories

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on the software product portfolio, providing guidance and support to internal teams, customers, and external partners.

A day in the life

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the requirements for the next generation of remote vehicle controls and services. This role is inherently cross-functional. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, business development, and other leaders to bring products to market and identify growth opportunities for Amazon and automotive partners.

We are a tightly-knit product team dedicated to designing and maintaining telematics and remote vehicle controls products with a massive customer impact. Leveraging data and customer feedback, we solve complex problems, working across multiple partner teams with functions ranging from tech development to communications. Our vision is to build the world's safest transportation network.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager in the automotive or connected technology industry, with a focus on remote vehicle controls or related technologies.

  • Familiarity with automotive telematics, connected tech.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Excellent product management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams demonstrating experience in owning/driving roadmap strategy with end-to-end product delivery.

  • Proficiency with data analytics.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
