Here's how aProposals Specialistfor our SeattleDistrict office, Bellevue location contributes to our team: Responsibilities Spearhead the development of proposals from conceptualization to completion, overseeing every phase from initial vision to interview and finalization. This entails crafting persuasive graphics and visual presentations while strategically aligning each proposal with organizational objectives. Collaborate effectively to refine the layout and production of proposal materials, ensuring a professional and brand-consistent aesthetic. Meticulously proofread, edit, and refine text content to produce high-quality, compliant, and error-free submissions within designated timelines. Maintain a cohesive narrative voice and ensure messaging continuity across all documents. Coordinate and lead the proposal kick-off meeting, orchestrating all key interactions and milestones throughout the proposal lifecycle. Proactively manage communication and task assignments among team members, including both local and remote stakeholders, to uphold internal deadlines. Identify process inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions for improvement. Serve as a dedicated resource and expert on the proposal process, offering guidance and support to colleagues with inquiries or challenges. Perform additional responsibilities as necessary to support the overall objectives of the team and organization. Qualifications Possess a post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent field, providing a solid foundation for the role. Demonstrate 3-5 years of progressive experience in proposal management within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Industry, showcasing a trajectory towards becoming an expert in proposal development and execution. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the nuances between various types of RFPs and RFQs, enabling effective response strategies. Display a passion for conducting market and client research to inform and enhance proposal development processes. Showcase expert-level proficiency in project and time management, adeptly navigating multiple deadlines and priorities with precision. Demonstrate 1-2 years of experience independently leading proposals from inception to completion, requiring minimal direction for optimal outcomes. Possess exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills, facilitating clear and compelling proposal content. Exhibit advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, alongside working knowledge of other Adobe Suite programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop, enhancing the visual appeal and professionalism of proposal materials. Showcase advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility across platforms. Possess a thorough understanding of Bluebeam Studio, leveraging its capabilities to enhance collaboration and document management.
