Amazon Program Manager - Utility Services, AMZL Energy Team in Bellevue, Washington

Description

Amazon is looking for a Program Manager to join the Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Utility Services team. This role is instrumental to delivering against sustainability goals tied to fleet electrification. In this role, the Program Manager will lead engagement with electric utilities and energy companies across North America and manage projects to ensure successful site-energization.

Key job responsibilities

•Build relationships with utility stakeholders

•Work with internal and external planning, design, and engineering teams to evaluate last mile delivery sites for energization

•Lead the execution of site energization, delivering bar-raising results against applicable KPI

•Manage and influence across internal and external teams to ensure on-time deliverables

•Negotiate agreements and evaluate opportunities to reduce capital and operating expense

•Critically assess development plans to identify blockers, analyze trade-off decisions, and escalate effectively

•Develop scalable mechanisms to communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience identifying and resolving complex issues

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
