As a Principal Product Manager Technical on the Inventory products team you will deliver inventory planning services to FBA Sellers through both Amazon Seller Central, the portal for Seller services, and APIs that integrate into Seller workflows and systems. These services include guiding Sellers on their most critical inventory decisions such as when to restock, advertise, markdown, or launch value recovery.

In this role you will be the end-to-end owner of building a world-class experience for our Sellers and influencing policies to drive engagement and adoption and improving FBA north star seller metric: the Inventory Performance Index. You will work with partners in UX design, data science & analytics, and engineering to build the solution and then engage with marketing and PR for the Seller outreach and launches.

Key job responsibilities

Own the strategic product road map for Inventory Performance Index, including integration into future services, like Supply Chain by Amazon.

Own seller experience with Inventory Performance Index WW, including in existing stores, international emerging stores and new store launches.

Own roadmap for continuous improvement and process to incorporate seller feedback, testing seller impact and measuring outcomes of the changes

Work directly with Science and Tech teams to translate the business requirements into model updates and functional designs

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams

  • 6+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
