Position Summary

 

Under general supervision of the Arts and Humanities Division Operations Director, the Program Coordinator acts as first point of contact for students, staff, faculty, and community members, supporting faculty effectiveness and student success by providing information as needed or requested. In addition, this position assists with website and SharePoint maintenance; oversees the equipment and office spaces within the division. The Program Coordinator also participates in meeting and event planning and execution. The Program Coordinator may perform specialized complex word processing tasks or entry functions such as processing documents and records and taking and transcribing meeting minutes.

 

This is a temporary part-time project position (19 hours/week) and expected to end on 06/30/2025. Extension of the position pending on funding availability.

 

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule

 

Position Salary Range: $1,734.23/month - $2,310.40/month

 

The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Individuals newly hired to Classified position are placed in a salary range based on the WPEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

 

This position is expected to NOT be eligible for benefits because eligibility is limited only to employees working at least an average of 80 hours in eligible employment for more than 6 consecutive months and at least 8 hours a month. The employee is scheduled to work 19 hours per workweek. This is a Classified, overtime eligible position and represented by the Washington Public Employee Association of Higher Education (WPEA-HE).
