Our team is seeking a Manager, Data Science who'll lead and develop a team implementing sophisticated data models and analytics solutions that drive business decisions and strategies. Responsibilities: Mentor and develop a team of data scientists, providing leadership and support in the development of data models and analytics solutions. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify business problems and develop data-driven strategies to address them. Lead all aspects of the design, development, and implementation of AI and data models to improve decision-making processes. Supervise and evaluate the performance of data science projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Drive the adoption of standard methodologies in data science and analytics, including model validation, testing, and documentation. Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and methodologies in data science and AI to champion innovation. Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business partners to translate sophisticated data insights into actionable recommendations. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 4+ yrs validated experience leading high-performing data science teams, encouraging collaboration and driving performance. Solid grasp of data science concepts, AI methodologies, and statistical analysis techniques. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with experience in data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate insights and findings. Excellent project management skills, with a consistent track record of leading multiple projects and teams simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sophisticated data sets and derive actionable insights. Outstanding communication and social skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and partners. Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage and analytics.
