Amazon Global Ergonomics Partnerships Program Manager, Global Ergonomics Risk Programs, Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience in Bellevue, Washington

We are looking for high-potential, flexible, innovative, and forward-thinking professionals to join the Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) Global Ergonomics Risk Programs team. Are you ready to drive high-visibility, strategic, Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) risk reduction programs as well as leverage Lean methodologies to lead process improvement initiatives? The Global Ergonomics Partnerships Program Manager (PM) will support in establishing partnerships and work closely with senior leaders to manage MSD risk reduction projects and programs. The role is also responsible for documenting, managing, and communicating project statuses cross-functionally to improve visibility of opportunities and enable the required levels of project redundancy. This role requires clear, concise and cross-functional communication. This individual will should be customer-focused and look around corners to support a global, growing organization. This role requires self-motivation, process orientation, and high interest in solving process and systems problems. Influencing and team building skills are essential for the success of this position.

Role requires travel up to 25% of the time.

Key job responsibilities

• Managing and delivering results on complex projects across multiple organizations

• Map business requirements, understand business process, study and analyze workflows

• Manage components of the MSD risk reduction projects through visibility across functional partners developing MSD interventions

• Identifying, coordinating, and consolidating current in-flight and future MSD interventions

• Working to eliminate barriers, drive projects, and escalate when support is required

• Providing recommendations to the business and business partners on when to stop investing into MSD risk reduction projects

• Identifying interventions with overlapping or conflicting scope

• Mine and analyze data for metrics and decision support

• Drive innovation through superior analytical abilities and preferred experience in Lean Manufacturing methodologies

• Use knowledge and experience in Amazon warehouse operations as well as excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills, to support the Global Ergonomics Risk Programs team

• Finds practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality

• Use exceptional problem-solving, and communication skills to influence business and technical audiences

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience

  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • PMP

  • Working experience of ergonomics and/or ergonomic evaluation tools are a plus

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Visual Basic programming language and Excel query and script creation are a plus

  • Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and strong work ethic.

  • Sharp, analytical, and thoughtful. Thoroughly thinks through problems to come up with solutions.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Excellent written (Amazon writing) and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to problem solve independently

  • Strong team player, acts like an owner, and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
