Salary: $203,350.00/year to $240,240.00/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Duties:

Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test mobile and desktop web software applications or systems. Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications. Implement features and user interfaces to optimize performance of user-facing products. Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products. Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

 

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field. Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following:

  1. Building mobile and desktop web applications using JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6;
  2. HTML or CSS including layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility;
  3. Browser APIs and optimizing front end performance of web-based applications;
  4. Front end development of mobile and desktop applications using React, Vue, or Angular;
  5. Debugging or benchmarking and gathering of telemetry data;
  6. Writing code for accessible User Interface components;
  7. Building tools, linting and formatting of the codebase;
  8. Usage of Version Control; and
  9. Knowledge and usage of a typed JS version, such as Flow/Typescript.
