Develop design drawings and specifications for new SCADA systems to meet client requirements. Evaluate various SCADA system upgrade paths (both software and hardware) and recommend solutions to clients. Evaluate and recommend different instrumentation solutions for best fit for a given design challenge. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project design team develop bid drawing packages for clients. Collaborate with project process engineers in developing a projects control narrative and loop descriptions. Design and implement SCADA HMI screen programming according to a project’s control narrative. Develop PLC programming according to a control narrative (Rockwell, Modicon, Siemens specifically). Field commission programmed SCADA systems working in coordination with contractors, electricians, client staff and operators.

The prevailing salary range for this position is $145,413 to $155,800. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s what you’ll need :

Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 60 months of work experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Expertise/ knowledge of:

  1. Controls Engineering.

  2. Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

  3. Control Narratives for process systems.

  4. Water and Wastewater Industry and Processes.

  5. SCADA programming platforms including Wonderware and FactoryTalk.

  6. PLC programming platform Rockwell automation.
