TEKsystems AV Technician in Bellevue, Washington
Description:
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Microsoft Teams Room Technician to join our AV team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) to ensure seamless video conferencing and collaboration experiences for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Setup and Configuration: Set up and configure Microsoft Teams Rooms hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Maintenance and Support: Perform regular maintenance and updates on MTR systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to end-users.
• User Training: Conduct training sessions for employees on how to effectively use Microsoft Teams Rooms, including best practices for video conferencing and collaboration.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the performance of MTR systems, generate reports on usage and issues, and recommend improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the AV team and other departments to ensure MTR systems meet the organization’s needs and integrate seamlessly with other technologies.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of MTR configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience in setting up and maintaining Microsoft Teams Rooms or similar video conferencing systems.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams and AV equipment. Familiarity with network configurations and troubleshooting.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate are a plus but not required.
• Live event Support: Some experience with or desire to learn live event support operating live cameras and microphones as required.
