TheTechnical Product Managerexecutes a range of workstreams in product development programs across BT Group, managing the implementation and maximal impact of company product strategies,technicalproduct management, user experience (UX), software engineering, and analysis across multiple product lines.
What you’ll be doing
Contribute to the overall solution roadmap and technical capabilities to support the Consumer ALL IP product roadmap.
Drives the overall solution strategy for ALL IP products and services and oversees the end to end delivery and in-life evolution of products.
Translating the business outcomes into technical rstrategy, defining the solution roadmap, alignment to technical delivery and architectural transformation.
Partners with key stakeholders across marketing, product and operations, CDO (Chief Digital Office) and Service Platforms to create and define detailed solution requirements and drive the end to end delivery and product evolution.
Understand desired outcomes and define best technical solution to deliver the requirements and optimise cost–benefit, delivery timescales and whole life costs
Specific Skills and Experience
Deep product knowledge of relevant portfolio of telco products(Broadband & Voice)
Comprehensive knowledge of architecture and technologies
Experience in telco industry with significant experience of leading major technical product deliveries and ideally product migrations
Expert understanding of technology (IT and Network) that underpins Telco products
Significant understanding of commercial objectives relating to product portfolio
