Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.
We our seeking a Water Sampling Technician to work within our fast-growing water testing laboratory, specialising in water microbiology and water chemistry.
We are looking for a conscientious, reliable person capable of working on their own and as part of a team. In-depth experience of the role is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided if required.
Completion of water hygiene monitoring tasks which will include but not limited to the carrying out of temperature checks and bacteriological and chemical sample collection.
Collect water samples as per schedule from domestic and healthcare settings.
To communicate with contractors ensuring a high level of customer service.
To accurately and efficiently process samples for analysis when required.
Ensuring all samples are labelled correctly and delivered to the lab in a timely manner.
Logistics and route planning.
Preparation of sample bottles, paperwork and sampling supplies.
Care of sample documentation and laboratory analysis request forms.
Adherence to all company and customer health and safety procedures
Understand customer needs and to create and amend sampling schedule as per workload.
A full UK Driving Licence is required for this role.
Educated to GCSE level
Computer literate
The ability to communicate well, and work under pressure, as part of a team.
A high level of organisational skills.
Monitoring and meeting deadlines
A consistent approach to duties with an attention to detail.
Can work on own initiative.
Professional conduct as will be visiting various customer sites.
The ability to act as an ambassador for our brand, dealing with customer queries with professionalism.
