Markets Operations Belfast Overview:

Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders including alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

Role Overview:

The role will responsible for PMO activities surrounding the portfolio of Markets Operations programmes and commitments. The role has a critical part to play in meeting key regulatory deliverables and helping establish and oversee appropriate governance, financial management and risk management.

What you’ll do:

  • Help drive the PMO process for Markets Operations Transformation

  • Provide program and portfolio governance, oversight and monitoring.

  • Oversee a process to end-to-end program plans and tracking of progress and changes.

  • Manage the process around budgets, prioritisation and new project initiation.

  • Responsible for benefit metrics and benefit tracking

  • Ensure each project and programme has clear delivery plans in a consistent manner across the portfolio

  • Build strong relationships and coordinate with key stakeholders

  • Take an active role in book of work review at an initiative, program and/or project level.

  • Ensure PM-related escalations are addressed in a correct and timely manner.

  • Responsible for delivery of Quality Metrics, PM Risk Appetite, Status Reporting, and spot check results.

  • Interface with risk and control functions to ensure change risk management is robust across the portfolio.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Previous Relevant experience

  • Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • PMP or project management qualification equivalent would be a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
