About the Role Kitsap Credit Union is hiring a full-time hourly Member Specialist to work in-person out of our Belfair, WA location. This position is responsible for creating member loyalty by providing exceptional service and deepening member relationships by cross-selling all products and services, and demonstrating digital and self serve options. Quick Facts Reports to: Branch Manager Employment Type: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt, in-person Salary Range: $25.15 - 31.44 /hr depending on experience Bonus Target: 5% potential incentive of base pay Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM Grade: 7BC Industry: Banking Job Functions:Teller, Banker, Banking, Relationship Banking, Personal Banker, Account Representative, Loan Officer What you will do * Approach, welcome and engage all visitors and members who conduct business with the credit union. * Authentically engage members and visitors through asking relevant and meaningful questions, identifying their needs and making appropriate product and service recommendations. Perform daily branch operations, including teller transactions, lending, new accounts and assist members with their financial needs. * Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. * Proactively generate new loan and membership business through branch sales activities, network with local businesses and participate in community events. * Actively contribute in the area of continuous quality improvement, solicit and contribute new ideas and methods to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of processes and procedures. * Build market position by locating, developing and closing business relationships.
