Summary SURVICE is seeking to hire multiple full-timeUnmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) / Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) Technicianswith mechanical and/or electrical skills and experience in support of our Applied Technology Operation located in Churchville, Maryland involved in UAV/UGV research and development and UAV flight operations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and sub-assemblies
- Develop production documentation that may include assembly drawings and procedures
- Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units, including sub-assembly, process assembly, inspection modifications, upgrades, and rework
- Repair and maintain UAV/UGV systems
Preferred Qualifications Trade degree/certification preferred, with 1-2+ years of relevant mechanical and/or electrical assembly skills and experience.
- Experience building mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies in a laboratory or production environment
- Ability to develop mechanical and/or electrical drawings
- Proficient with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office
- Team player with initiative and effective communication skills
Travel Requirements
- 25-30% local/regional support
