As an Android engineer in Growth Area, you will develop features to contribute to Duolingo's user growth and bring the best learning experience to millions of learners. We're looking for engineers who are passionate about crafting delightful experiences in close collaboration with our world-class design and animation teams. You Will...
Collaborate with product managers and designers to drive user growth.
Skilled in developing, launching, and maintaining high-quality native Android applications.
Proven track record to effectively manage project priorities, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
You Have...
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Programming experience in Kotlin on Android and Java; technical expertise in RxJava.
The ability to communicate technical issues effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Relocation to Beijing, China. This position is based in Beijing.
Exceptional Candidates Will Have...
Strong product sense and user empathy.
Outstanding leadership and negotiation skills
Experience designing clean and maintainable APIs
Experience writing unit tests and testable code
Proficient in both spoken and written English.
