Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Product Marketing leader responsible to accelerate Qualcomm PC business growth in China. The role will lead a cross-functional team to ramp PC OEMs, channel partners, software and hardware ecosystem partners, and scale Qualcomm’s PC business in China. The role will own Product Life Cycle responsibilities to ensure business success, from strategy, product planning, to go-to-market execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Define Qualcomm PC growth strategies in China and drive PC product roadmap and go to market to match the growth strategy.
Understand key OEM, channel, and ecosystem partner product requirements and drive Qualcomm product improvements
Understand China PC industry and channel landscape and define Qualcomm PC go-to-market strategy, including target segments and scaling strategy across OEMs, working with key channel partners
Demonstrate Qualcomm PC product leadership in AI, low power computing, connectivity, and co-define OEM product portfolio based on our product leadership
Understand areas of improvement in Qualcomm product offering and drive improvement actions across product planning, engineering support, and business practice changes.
Define PC strategies by deep analysis of company product roadmap and market dynamics - market trends, competition, supply chain.
Drive customer engagements and develop effective work model to bring the best out of Qualcomm and customer engineering resources to develop leadership products.
Responsible for driving seamlessly alignment between China leadership team and US Headquarter to drive definition and execution of business growth objectives.
Lead and grow a small team of product marketing professional
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in both PC and Phone/Tablet industries.
Deep knowledge of PC underlying technologies, customer, channel, ecosystem, vendors, product portfolio, and market trends.
Proven business strategy expertise to break new ground to radically drive growth, time-to-market, revenue and MSS.
Proven ability to influence and partner at all leadership levels across BU's, supply chain partners, diverse international cultures, and external entities.
Excellent teamwork/team building skills and proven leadership ability to influence and lead across a highly matrixed cross-functional environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with proven ability to extract and articulate clear and concise key messages from detailed, complex, and often incongruent signals.
Bachelor's degree in science/engineering. Master or MBA preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 11+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 13+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
