At Commercial Services Sales organization we strive to be the liaison between the customer and Boeing to provide win-win solutions that meets customer desires as well as our company objectives.

This position can be based in Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou, China supporting Managing Director of the region as well as Account Manager to facilitate communication with internal stakeholders in the US and support NBA process. The person will also be assigned as Account Director to gain hands on experience leading BGS sales initiatives with assigned customers. It is a high visibility job. The Sales Support /Account Manager is a core member of the selling team. Successful Sales Support demonstrate extraordinary drive and initiative. The goal is to win, win smart, and win as a team, and the Sales Support is a key component of the team integration that leads to success.

Job Responsibilities

As for Sales Support, he or she works with a variety of internal and external customers to assist with the development of sales strategies required to achieve sales targets. The role includes coordination within the sales team and the leadership team for the region to assist in the preparation of sales presentation materials and the documentation required to obtain internal approvals in support of sales campaigns.

The Sales Support also works closely with customer relations and airplane programs business units to coordinate customer visit agendas as required in support of sales campaigns and aircraft deliveries in the assigned region. This includes activities such as delivery dinners, celebrations, gift preparation, tours and related business meetings.

The Sales Support assists the Business Director with the business operations of the organization such as preparations for staff meetings, executive visits, offsite presentations, special events and budget development/monitoring.

The Sales Support also helps to ensure compliance with Boeing policies, procedures and requirements.

As for Account Manager, candidate is responsible for the following:

  • Leverages company resources to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage and foster business growth by using a comprehensive understanding (breadth and depth) of multiple Boeing products and services, process and operations and resources.

  • Verifies, evaluates and applies detailed customer knowledge to advance campaign activity, support the Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) and contribute to strategy development (e.g., country, region and campaign).

  • Establishes a broad network of contacts and knowledge base to act as a broker of knowledge to multiple customer needs.

  • Initiates and advances customer relationships and works to be accepted as a trusted business partner by the customer.

  • Develops strategy and tactics using in-depth knowledge of customer needs, Boeing products and services and competitive environment to foster business growth with acceptable margins. Ensures strategic alignment with the customer, LRBP and BSAS objectives.

Requirements:

  • The Sales Support/ Account Manager candidate must have relevant experience at Boeing or in the commercial aviation industry.

  • The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and initiative throughout their work history, including a solid track record of increasing responsibility and demonstrated success.

  • Candidates should be familiar with the selling process, integrated planning, managing statement of work.

  • The successful candidate will be among the elite of his/her work group, and will be viewed by their management as an exceptional performer and contributor.

  • This role will require travel of up to 25%.

Required Competencies:

  • Product, operational and acquisition process acumen.

  • Position requires excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills (good presentation skills) in both Mandarin and English.

  • Sales, maintenance, material or project management experience with an airline or MRO preferred.

Preferred Qualification/Background:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Work Authorization:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in China.
