Texas Health HEB is a 252-bed, acute-care, full-service hospital serving our community since 1973. Our location in the DFW mid cities area provides convenient care to the residents of Hurst, Euless, Bedford and the surrounding communities.

We specialize in women’s services, perioperative services, heart and vascular care, acute care/med surg, intermediate care/step-down, oncology and emergency medicine. Additional specialties include nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, respiratory therapy, and neuroscience care, including neurosurgery and stroke.

Texas Health HEB is ANCC Magnet Designated, Joint Commission-certified in Chest Pain (PHAC), a Primary Stroke Center, a Level III Trauma Center, Level II NICU and Level III for maternal care. What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree - Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required. (Other – CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.)

  • 3 years of RN experience in an acute care hospital is required .

  • Utilization management experience is preferred.

  • RN Case Management / Care Management experience is preferred

  • 1 year of discharge planning is preferred

  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required

  • CPR – (BLS) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is required upon hire

  • ACM (Accredited Case Manager) upon hire OR a CCM (Commission for Case Manager Certification) is preferred.

What You’ll Do

Responsible for ensuring patients are transitioned to appropriate levels of care in a timely and effective manner. In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will:

Reviews the Texas Health Readmission Indicator List (THRIL) scores daily for all assigned patients and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to identify high risk patients whose THRIL score may not have indicated appropriately.
