Robert Half Accounts Payable Supervisor in Bedford, Massachusetts
Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role entails supervising the operations of the Accounts Payable (AP) department, managing workflows, maintaining relationships with vendors and stakeholders, and preparing financial reports. You will also contribute to process improvements and manage the company's credit card program.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Payable department
• Utilize accounting software for invoice processing, vendor payments, and other AP functions
• Manage workflows for project team approvals to ensure invoices are processed accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with the AP coordinator, Project Managers, and Director of Finance to complete job closeouts accurately and efficiently
• Oversee company’s credit card program, including issuing cards, monitoring spending, and managing expense reporting
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Aid in monitoring cash balances and banking processes as needed
• Prepare financial reports at the end of the month and year, and perform ad hoc financial analyses as requested
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to increase efficiency
• Oversee annual 1099 reporting prepared by AP coordinator.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with Concur
• Proven skills in Data Processing
• Knowledge of ERP Solutions
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions
• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in Check Processing
• Ability to handle Discrepancy issues
• Proficiency in Expense Reporting
