System One Safety Training Specialist in Becker, Minnesota
System One is seeking a Safety Training Specialist to join our team to support a short-term contract position located in Becker, MN.
The Safety Training Specialist is responsible for delivering safety and compliance training to the enterprise. This role requires travel to different locations within the company's territory, including plants and service centers, to conduct training sessions. The Specialist utilizes pre-prepared training materials and adapts them as necessary to effectively deliver content, ensuring employees receive the necessary training to maintain safety standards and compliance.
Safety Training Specialist Responsibilities:
Deliver safety and compliance training sessions at various locations within the company's territory.
Utilize pre-prepared training materials and adapt them as necessary to effectively deliver content.
Connect with participants and address questions or concerns during training sessions.
Follow a yearly training schedule to determine session locations and content.
Collaborate with stakeholders such as department heads, supervisors, and employees from different levels and departments.
Ensure alignment with customer needs and address any challenges or opportunities for improvement through regular meetings with the team.
Safety Training Specialist Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a trainer or equivalent in a similar role.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, for creating training presentations.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; relevant experience will be considered.
Comfortable with travel and conducting training sessions at different locations within the company's territory.
Project Location: Becker, MN 55308 (Local travel to different plants and training centers will be required)
Contract Duration: 3-4 Months
Hourly Pay Rate: $41.50/Hr
