WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This is the Nike matrix and you are going to be the single source of truth for information for this team. You will report directly to the Project Management Director for Global Digital Marketing. You will be part of a project management team alongside other Project Managers and Coordinators. You will partner with the Project Management Director for guidance as you learn and grow in your experience. You are the key project management partner to the leader for the Integrated Media function.

You will be working with teams in Marketing, vendors, Geos, and cross functional partners of Marketing. Your job, first and foremost, is to ensure that marketing’s house is in order. We must ensure that everyone within marketing is aware of expected outcomes and what is and is not required of them to ensure we deliver on time and within expectations.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Project Management Lead that is responsible for managing and tracking designated workstreams across Global Digital Marketing. The Project Manager is highly organized, efficient and results driven. An expert in managing and tracking marketing projects and cross-functional team management, balancing the tactical needs of execution with the communication skills required to handle brief desires and realities

The ideal candidate needs to have the skill to both make the right decisions and communicate them convincingly, acting as the project team quarterback that other team members consistently seek out for answers that are fast, authoritative, and right.

The skills and duties necessary for success include…

  • Minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training. Project Management Institute Certification a plus

  • A seasoned and strong ability to problem solve through project challenges

  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines; ability to be flexible, resilient, empathetic, confident

  • Experience managing budgets ($1-$5M+) and delivering on initiatives

  • Experience working with global production partners and agencies

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a Lead in Project Management, you will be responsible for managing, tracking and delivering marketing projects & workstreams for the Integrated Media function. You will report into the Project Director of your function. You play a supporting role in the consumer code process from Seasonal Kick-off to execution, working closely with all cross-functional partners, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope and on brief. You will partner closely with Brand Planning, Studio Management, Production, and Digital Marketing defining the scope of delivery, communicating budget and timelines.

A typical day/week is never the same. You will be looking to manage all activities around the project that ensure on time, on expectation, and on budget projects. No project is created equal, but you will use your years of experience to drive your work and the success of the project on a day-to-day basis.   • Development, implementation, and oversight of project plans. Ensuring that initiatives are executed are delivered on time and on budget

  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure consistency and project timing are aligned

  • Defining a clear path for success on complex projects

  • Maintain a constant view of all work in flight across your projects

  • Provide project leadership visibility and insights through the execution, implementation, and operationalization of assigned project

  • Manage a complex matrixed environment

  • Multitask and meet tight deadlines, while working autonomously with solid decision-making skills
