WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will report directly to CMG Sr. Design director, while working in collaboration with fellow triad functions. Outside of the Studio, your primary partners will be Apparel Design, Graphic Design, Product Line Management, Technical design. You will be working on product across all of ACG dimensions to support seasonal product creation. This opportunity will require independent and highly detailed thinking.

We’re looking for an exceptional Lead Apparel and Footwear Production Artist to combine their experience, problem-solving abilities, and creativity to help create the future of ACG. The ideal teammate will be a highly creative problem solver. This is someone who doesn’t settle for anything less than the best design and graphic solutions, to meet the needs of the ACG consumer. They’ll be focused on elevating the consumer experience by graphics and graphic art for a range of products while driving an emotional connection through the use of narrative and storytelling. We are looking for a Lead Production Artist to join the ACG CMG Apparel and Footwear Team. We are looking for a technical Designer who loves the production and creation process.
We are experts at creating apparel on both physical and digital platforms.
We obsess craft, design, pattern cutting, apparel technical knowledge, fit knowledge, making skills.
This role amplifies product design by delivering flawless execution on production-ready files, is a trusted resource within the team, and creates detailed and accurate graphic schematics.
The candidate needs to have a creative mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, while keeping production moving forward.
Outside of the Product design team your primary partners will be Material Design, Product Design, Product Management and Design Operations.
Bachelor’s degree in design, 5 years or more of experience at agency or in-house setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training
Strong knowledge of Illustrator and Adobe Suite
Strong listening, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity while continuing to collaborate with the team
Incredible attention to the details that most people miss
Ability to multi-task amidst competing priorities
Curiosity for learning and building a strong design community
Experience in 3D apparel programs (CLO or Lotta) is a plus
Understanding of Smartsheets, Airtable, and Miro are a plus
A love for sports is a bonus but a love for design is essential

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Create original Apparel and Footwear graphic and graphic realated designs that reflect our design philosophy & standards with guidance from senior designers and the Design Directors
Proactively implement all apparel and footwear production art details including: print schematics, logo art, and trims.
Partner and clearly communicate with all relevant members within Design, Technical Development and Product Management to ensure feasibility of designs against product creation timelines
Present solutions and art to the grander product creation team working on ACG.
Create presentation materials that effectively communicate the concept behind the seasonal designs to internal audiences.
Build awareness of current trends, color, and sports-related products through market research with a clear connection to consumer needs.
Provide graphic design support for broader Apparel and Footwear Design team as needed, outside of assigned projects.
