Vanguard EMS, Inc. Label Operator in Beaverton, Oregon

The Label Operator position follows written work instructions to provide support for the manufacturing floor through various functions including but not limited to the label printing process.

What you’ll do:

  • Accurate Data Entry

  • Follow all label-related policies and procedures.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure labels are correct before releasing to production floor.

  • Operate label-printing machines and escalate repair and maintenance when required.

  • Maintain appropriate levels of label stock.

  • Contribute to a positive team working environment.

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • Treat everyone at Vanguard, its vendors and customers with dignity, respect, and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

What you’ll need:

· Advanced knowledge of computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit, and a “hands on” mentality.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.

  • Demonstrated customer support and information gathering skills.

  • Proficient communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Communicate in person, over the phone, email, and internet or in writing in a positive, professional manner

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make productive use of time.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses production equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision.
