LINQUEST CORPORATION Senior Subcontracts Administrator in Beavercreek, Ohio

Description LinQuest is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to join our team in one of our offices or remote. U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required. The Senior Subcontracts Administrator will be responsible for evaluating proposals, negotiating and preparing subcontracts, and monitoring subcontractor performance. Responsibilities: Monitor and forecast funding requirements on each contract and subcontract, as well as support pricing proposals for prime contract and subcontract bids. Works with internal and external customers to ensure specifications are appropriate for the services or products required. Compile, document and assist with conducting award process to suppliers. Responsible for the monitoring of the subcontractor's performance. Provides subcontract advice to project management and other related functions (finance, contracts) Negotiates subcontract terms and conditions including estimated cost/price, delivery, quality and performance requirements. Support the sources selection process by participating in the proposal evaluation team, fact finding and cost/price analysis. Resolve subcontractor issues affecting subcontract performance and ensures subcontractor compliance with legal requirements, company policies, as well as compliance with FAR and DFARS. Required Skills and Experience: 10+ years of relevant work experience. Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in business, finance, accounting or supply management or related field, or equivalent experience. Expertise in U.S. Government (FAR/DFARS) Contracting. Ability to effectively work with the management of other organizations (program management, subcontracts, pricing, business management, and supply chain management) as well as representatives of Government agencies. Prior experience with various contract types such as IDIQs, Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, etc. Ability to quickly comprehend business deals, provide strategic input, and effectively tailor the agreements to better meet company objectives. Experience negotiating prime contacts and subcontracts. Experience reviewing and preparing proposal documents. Deals with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations. Harmoniously works with other employees and customers. Exercises independent judgement and proactively handles complex supplier/vendor issues. Strong presentation and written communication skills. Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. US citizenship required.
