Wright-Patt Credit Union Inc. Commercial Portfolio Support Coordinator in Beavercreek, Ohio

The Commercial Portfolio Support Coordinator is responsible for front-line responses to commercial loan delinquency, , auditing and monitoring of commercial loan files, and monitoring commercial loans’ maturity, collateral, and other duties as needed. The role supports successful engagement with business members and ensures timely intervention and appropriate resolution tactics are deployed to obtain adherence with loan repayment obligations.

1) Call delinquent member business loans. Ensures delinquent notices are sent to borrowers who do not respond to initial requests. All activities and calls are to be documented within member business services commercial loan system, nCino. Sends default notices after event(s) of default occur, i.e., business closure, material change, death, etc. Recommends delinquent commercial loan accounts for charge-off, when necessary. Communicate with all small business members identified as high-risk by small business credit team including collecting updated financial statements. (40%)

2) Perform post-closing audits of new commercial loans. (35%)

3) Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. Reports gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk is mitigated. Other duties as assigned by the Commercial Portfolio Manager. (10%)

4) Monitor maturing member business loans. Send financial requests to applicable members within ninety days of maturity. Assign each renewal task to the appropriate Relationship Manager within ninety days of maturity. (5%)

5) Monitor uniform commercial code filings to ensure WPCU’s lien position remains in a priority position throughout the duration of the life of the member business loan. Process continuations and cancellations when applicable. (5%)

6) Process collateral release requests. These will be processed as member business loan obligations are paid in-full. The release will include a review to ensure the applicable collateral is not cross collateralized with other WPCU debt obligations. (5%)

Required Skills

1) A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, or a Business-related field is preferred; or

2) A high school diploma, with post-secondary work in a Business-related field or equivalent combination of education and 3-5 years’ experience is required; and

3) Excellent oral and written communications skills are required; and

4) Proven ability to learn complex or sophisticated concepts and systems and apply them appropriately as required.
