Working at our Beavercreek Site :

GE Aerospace operations have been part of the Beavercreek community for over 70 years! Our Beavercreek facility manufactures gas turbine tubes, ducts, and manifolds, and also has complex machining, fabrication and investment casting capabilities. Product engineering, new product development and testing is performed on site. This facility also does repair and overhaul of tubes, ducts, and manifolds. We have been awarded OSHAS’s highest safety rating.

Role Overview:

  • This position will report to the Plant Leader

  • Work with outside vendors for employee events, coordinating events, meeting preparation

  • Assist in purchasing of all supplies for Production Leadership

  • Maintain documents for Production leadership through electronic methods

  • Keep production details current and accurate

  • Book travel for executives, assisting with travel needs for other leaders

  • Complete SSS Ordering for Production Leadership

  • Manage and support large and small meetings; set-up, catering, logistics

  • Maintain Department Performance Metrics

The Ideal Candidate:

Will work with limited Supervision, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and provide direct support to the production floor with questions.

As the Administrative Assistant, you will:

  • Be responsible to create, populate and distribute reports, create PowerPoint presentations, maintain calendars, book travel

  • Support in various ad hoc projects, plan meetings, execute on objectives

  • This role will require very strong computer skills and the ability to work within deadlines

Required Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience

  • Ability to work proficiently in Excel, including navigating to files, data input, VLOOKUP’s, sums, etc

  • Ability to obtain a Purchase card for Company supplies/various purchases/ group lunch meetings, etc

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sense of urgency

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong time management ability

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • Experience working in and navigating computer applications such as SSS, SAP & Gensuite

  • Work experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong communication skills and ability to learn and understands all policies, practices, and procedures

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems

  • Able to handle and keep information confidential

  • Strong team player and desire for hands on approach to manufacturing troubleshooting. SAP / ERP Experience

Additional Information:

  • You will work on-site

  • Ability for some flex scheduling of hours; typically first shift hours. Will need to come in at 5 a.m. on an quarterly basis, sometimes more

  • Pay $23.79 & up, per hour based on experience
