THE POSITION

Do you have a passion for helping others and have the skill for initiating and maintaining meaningful programs on micro and meso levels to serve those with intellectual disabilities?

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Casework Supervisor position works within the Intellectual Disability Unit directly supervising our outstanding team of caseworkers by overseeing the implementation of program expectations. Program expectations include ensuring the health and safety of the consumers we serve, and locating, coordinating, and monitoring services. Casework Supervisors also participate in developing department policies, procedures, program planning, service implementation, quality management development, and training development. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major coursework in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences;ORany equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
