Aries Chemical Inc Water Treatment Service Specialist in Beaver Falls, New York
Aries Chemical, a New York State based Specialty Chemical Manufacturer is searching for a Water Treatment Service Specialist to support water treatment and paper chemical sales in the Central and Northern NY area. Individual will be supporting Aries Chemicals sales force by providing service at existing customer accounts. This is a field-based position providing hands on servicing of chemical feed and control systems. Typical service responsibilities would include routine water & chemical level testing, monitoring, calibration, minor repair of chemical feed related equipment. Individual would work closely with Aries sales force to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
The Service Technician is a field-based position providing hands-on servicing of chemical feed and control systems for water treatment and paper manufacturing.
Perform assigned water and chemical testing and sampling as required Communicate, record, and maintain relevant information regarding water and chemical operations. Maintain customer chemical inventory which may include lifting. Perform calibration, visual inspection, and minor repair of chemical feed and control equipment. Assist Aries Equipment fabrication group as needed Other duties as assigned Some overnight travel required Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience in an industrial or process related environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to build relationships Ability to operate independently Very organized with exceptional follow-through abilities Ability to multi-task in an active working environment Able to pass a drug and background check per the company requirements High School or College Degree This position requires performing activities to include, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting. Work is conducted both indoors and out with varying environmental conditions Must be able perform physical work in an industrial or process related environment. This would require exposure to chemicals, noise, hot & cold temperature and inclement weather Valid drivers license and acceptable motor vehicle record (DMV record will be checked)
